Flocculant

Cationic Poly Acrylamide

High-molecular-weight cationic flocculant for sludge dewatering, sewage conditioning, and oil-water separation. Strong adsorption bridging and charge neutralization in a single step.

Description

CPAM is a linear, high-molecular-weight, water-soluble polymer carrying positive charges on its chain. The cationic groups neutralize negatively-charged colloidal particles in suspension, while the long polymer bridges adsorb and aggregate them into dense, easily-dewaterable flocs. Suitable across a wide pH range and far more efficient than inorganic coagulants alone.

Typical Applications
  • Sludge dewatering (municipal + industrial)
  • Wastewater treatment (textile, paper, petroleum)
  • Tertiary effluent polishing
  • Oil-water separation
  • Drinking water clarification

Complementary products worth specifying together.

Most industrial water programmes use 3–5 chemistries in concert — a coagulant, an antiscalant, a biocide rotation, and a corrosion inhibitor. Here are three from our catalogue that pair commonly with this product.
