Non-Oxidizing Fungicide for Circulating Cooling Water

Broad-spectrum non-oxidizing biocide for open recirculating cooling towers. Controls algae, bacteria (including Legionella), and sulfate-reducing bacteria. Alternates with oxidizing biocides in rotation dosing.

Description

AD-401 is a non-oxidizing microbiocide for open recirculating cooling water systems. It provides effective control of slime-forming bacteria, fungi, algae, and sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) that cause microbiologically-influenced corrosion (MIC). Formulated to resist resistance development when used in alternating rotation with oxidizing biocides (chlorine, bromine).

Typical Applications
  • Open recirculating cooling towers
  • HVAC chilled water loops
  • Power plant cooling circuits
  • Oil refinery and petrochemical cooling

Complementary products worth specifying together.

Most industrial water programmes use 3–5 chemistries in concert — a coagulant, an antiscalant, a biocide rotation, and a corrosion inhibitor. Here are three from our catalogue that pair commonly with this product.
