Textile-wastewater coagulant + flocculant program
Programme outline, dosing range, feed points, target parameters, and lead times for the AAS wastewater coagulant programme into the textile mills segment in Pakistan. Sole Pakistan agent for Shaanxi Ande Technology (China) and Innovative Water Technology (Pakistan). Karachi office, same-business-day technical response.

Pakistani textile-effluent regulation is tightening on colour and COD discharge. AAS programs are sized to land NEQS with margin, not at-the-limit.
Dosing programme outline
Programme outline below is the AAS default for textile mills applications. Final dose is set against the customer's source-water analysis, equipment metallurgy, and operating cycles. Every drum ships with a Certificate of Analysis; SDS is shipped pre-shipment for HSE-document review.
- Coagulant
- PAC liquid (≥10% Al₂O₃), high-basicity
- Coagulant dose
- 300–800 ppm depending on dye load
- Flocculant
- Anionic / cationic PAM 0.5–3 ppm (paired against substrate charge)
- pH trim
- 6.5–7.5 ahead of coagulation
- Target colour removal
- 75–90% at headline wavelengths
- Target COD removal
- 60–80% across primary
- Suspended solids out
- ≤ 50 mg/L
- Sludge handling
- CPAM at the belt-press; 18–22% cake DS achievable
- Lead time
- Ex-Karachi stock on PAC and CPAM
Why textile-effluent chemistry has to be tuned to the dye class
Reactive dye-house effluent (cotton processing — the bulk of Faisalabad and Karachi textile output) carries high colour at 465 / 525 / 620 nm, hydrolysed reactives, and salt. Disperse-dye effluent (polyester) carries different loads. PAC outperforms alum across both — wider pH window, denser floc — but the right CPAM / PAM downstream is dye-class-specific. AAS runs the jar test at the customer plant and lands the dose programme against the actual effluent, not a generic specification.
